We are happy to announce the appointment of Namid Stillman, PhD, as Chief Technology Officer. Stillman, previously Head of AI, will lead engineering and research as Simudyne moves from agent-based simulation to GPU-native world models and foundation models, including its first foundation models for financial exchanges, automated model discovery, and new work in supply chains and other industries.

Namid Stillman is a research scientist and AI expert with more than 20 peer-reviewed publications, three patents, and a textbook on graph neural networks (GNNs). He holds a PhD in Engineering Mathematics from University of Bristol and joined Simudyne in 2023. For the past two years he has led the company’s AI research programme as Head of AI, including its generative market models and automated model discovery.

Simudyne builds world models for critical systems, working with global banks, exchanges and regulators to test decisions, improve market functioning and manage risk in high-fidelity virtual environments, and is extending the same approach to supply chains and other complex systems.
