Simudyne opens in Hong Kong
Simudyne Asia Ltd is the company's operational base in Asia

Simudyne has opened Simudyne Asia Ltd in Hong Kong, its operational base in the region and a long-term commitment to the place where much of the next decade of financial infrastructure and market intelligence will be decided.

The choice follows the work. Simudyne models markets at the level of individual orders, execution and the interactions between participants, and Hong Kong combines global capital flows, one of the world’s most sophisticated exchanges and a deep pool of quantitative talent. Simudyne’s simulator already runs in production at Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing, and its recent work training large generative models directly on order-level data, on top of years of investment in deterministic multi-agent simulation, made a permanent base the obvious next step.

The Hong Kong office is hiring engineers, quantitative researchers and interns. The roles span machine learning research, sequence modelling on market data, simulation engineering, data infrastructure and quantitative analysis of trading systems. Financial-markets experience helps but is not required; what matters is the ability to reason clearly about interacting systems under uncertainty, in work where correctness matters and models have to run at scale without losing reproducibility. Interns and students in mathematics, computer science, physics, biochemistry or engineering work on live systems, with research that goes straight into production.

Simudyne Asia is at InnoCentre, 72 Tat Chee Road, Kowloon Tong, Hong Kong.
