Ms. Emily Walker has worked within financial services, government and humanitarian agencies globally for more than 20 years. Includes over 15 years with Citigroup in Emerging Markets and experience at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, US Treasury and IMF.
Supports the Global Head of Simudyne with Strategic Planning, Corporate Reporting, Continuity of Business Planning, Operational Risk Reporting, management reviews, off-sites, human resource issues and global meetings (IMF, Davos).
Currently also working on private sector development and investment in Iraq. Actively serves on Department of Homeland Security’s Quadrennial Review Advisory Committee and Private Sector Advisory Committee. Speaks regularly on such topics as “Business Resilience”, “Emergency Preparedness”, and “Lessons Learned from 9-11” in diverse forums in the US and abroad. Frequent appearances on television and radio, including “Frost Over The World”, BBC TV and Radio, and Sky News.
She has a masters degree from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and worked on a PhD at London School of Economics in Political Economy.
