Justin started an internet technology firm in 1994. In 1998, he sold it for 15 times his original capital investment. He then helped grow two companies, one went public on NASDAQ. Both firms remain successful and have been ranked by Advertising Age as Top 100 U.S. Marketing Services Firms. He is a member of The Future 500. Justin holds a B.Sc. in Biochemistry from the University of Missouri – Columbia and pursued graduate studies in System Dynamics at MIT.

Ms. Emily Walker has worked within financial services, government and humanitarian agencies globally for more than 20 years. Includes over 15 years with Citigroup in Emerging Markets and experience at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, US Treasury and IMF.

Supports the Global Head of Simudyne with Strategic Planning, Corporate Reporting, Continuity of Business Planning, Operational Risk Reporting, management reviews, off-sites, human resource issues and global meetings (IMF, Davos).

Currently also working on private sector development and investment in Iraq. Actively serves on Department of Homeland Security’s Quadrennial Review Advisory Committee and Private Sector Advisory Committee. Speaks regularly on such topics as “Business Resilience”, “Emergency Preparedness”, and “Lessons Learned from 9-11” in diverse forums in the US and abroad. Frequent appearances on television and radio, including “Frost Over The World”, BBC TV and Radio, and Sky News.

She has a masters degree from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and worked on a PhD at London School of Economics in Political Economy.

Dr. Gourley is originally from New Zealand and is now based in San Francisco where he splits his time between Mathematical research, his venture backed startup Younoodle and his advisory work with Simudyne.

His academic research has taken him from Nanotechnology to Complex Systems and the Mathematics of War. As a result of his research he has acted as a political advisor to the Iraqi Government, briefed USCENTCOM at the Pentagon, addressed the United Nations in Vienna and dodged military checkpoints in Iraq. Over the years he has spent too many hours at the running track in an attempt to hone his pole vault, hurdling and discus skills for the Decathlon. Prior to Simudyne and Younoodle, he worked at NASA Ames in Mountain View, Exclusive Analysis in London, and a (very) brief stint as a consultant at BCG in Chicago. He is currently acting as an adviser to several startups and trying to improve his understanding of advanced string theory.

Dr. Sean Gourley studied at Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar where he received a PhD for his research on the mathematical patterns that underlie modern war.

Mr. Peregrine-Jones’ focus is on the fast and effective application of high-level consultancy skills to the solution of urgent business problems. For a multi-national, he led a team in growing revenue in a specific sector by an order of magnitude in less than two years. In a different but equally challenging situation, the need was to run a multi-country team in building, testing and delivering new industrial strength financial trading models suitable for subsequent commercialisation.

He has worked in the IT industry for over 20 years, principally with IBM, in a variety of sales and marketing roles. His corporate experience includes a long spell in IBM together with a number of years in the telecom and software sectors. He also works with an extensive network of associates in the United Kingdom who are themselves exceptionally experienced consultants with many years experience in their own sectors. He has chaired a network of UK independents, is on the council of the Richmond Group and is a member of the Worshipful Company of Management Consultants and of the Institute of Management Consultants.

Mr. Peregrine-Jones holds an honours degree in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University and an MBA from the London Business School.

George E. Danner’s particular specialty lies in agent-based simulation modeling, Monte Carlo simulation, System Dynamics, Game Theory, and Real Options.

George has twenty six years of experience in corporate strategy, including both operational and financial analysis, across a wide variety of industries, including manufacturing, energy, telecommunications, transportation, and financial services.  Prior to his role with Simudyne, George held executive positions at Business Laboratory (as founder), nGenera Corporation, Industrial Science LLC (as founder), and Arthur Andersen.

George has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Master of Science in Management from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Mike Rogosin has over 20 years experience in marketing and business consulting having profitably managed start-up activities to build operations and clients for US and European companies.

He has worked in telecommunications, aerospace/defence, industrial automation and air traffic control. He organises multinational teams to deliver advanced simulation solutions to clients in defence, petrochemical and security markets. He is a key member of Simudyne’s senior management team contributing to corporate strategy and operations.

He is an active member of the Sophia Business Angels and a founding member of Succes Europe, an early stage investment fund that provided over 8 million Euros to 21 early stage companies in 2009.

Michael has a BSEE from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Wharton.
